Who we are

Founded in 2003 by Binh Do, Oriental Star VN (Oriental Star., JSC) is a Vietnam-based manufacturer specializing in handcrafted buffalo horn jewelry. For more than 23 years we have combined traditional craftsmanship with modern design to create distinctive pieces from natural horn. Each product is shaped, polished and finished by hand, keeping quality consistent while preserving the unique character of the material.

We partner with boutiques, concept stores and jewelry brands worldwide, providing reliable wholesale production and private-label solutions. With a low MOQ of 10 pcs/pairs/sets per design & color and full custom development (OEM / ODM), we support both small businesses and growing brands in building their collections.

How we work

Our 500 m² workshop is in Thuy Ung Craft Village, about a 1.5-hour drive from central Hanoi, working with hundreds of skilled artisans in the craft village. Horn from farm-raised water buffalo is sorted by color and thickness, cut, pressed into shape with hydraulic presses, then carved, sanded and polished by hand. Every piece is quality-checked before packing. For horn & lacquer designs, colored lacquer is applied in layers, each dried and polished before the next, following the lacquer traditions of the Hanoi region. Our products carry a craft-village production certificate.
